Quite often, clients wish to be able to modify the content of some of the website themselves, and we recommend that we employ a third-party product that simplifies web publishing using three simple steps:

• Browse to the page that needs updating,
• Click “Edit” and edit it,
• Click '”Publish”,' and it's done.

It uses an intuitive WYSIWYG environment which offers point and click simplicity with no complicated forms.  Basically, if you can browse and use something like Word, then you already have the skills, you just need showing.  Of course it has a whole range of other features, but the bare essentials are simple.

The hosting required for this is essentially the same as our Standard Website Hosting described above.

However, we add on extra support services, which for example, allow us to restore the website to a number of previous states which ensures that clients need not worry about mistakes.

There are a number of special requirements for e-commerce and e-business websites in terms of hosting. For example, in order to display the lock in the browser a secure, (SSL) site is required.

All you need are included in this and all our other hosting option solutions. However, experience has shown us that our clients need far more support with e-commerce and e-business solutions and therefore we offer an enhance hosting and support package for our clients.

In most circumstances, this ensures that when you need it you will be talking to someone who can either fix problems immediately or who has a direct line to someone else who can.  Essential for business critical websites.

Occasionally there are specific requirements for a website that fall outside the normal.

The website may for example, need a specific operating system of a specific database.

It may require an application to be run on the server.

It may for example demand very high levels of disk storage or bandwidth.

CBN are able to offer a domain registration service for our clients that takes all the work away from you and ensures that updates, transfers, redirections, renewals and dealing with difficult to contact registration authorities is done for you.

This service is only available to clients for whom we have designed and hosted a website.
